Tingley has celebrated Halloween over 50 years. This festival will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022. The Lions Club serves a soup supper from 4:30PM-6:30PM and sells raffle tickets while the Tingley Topper 4-H Club hosts a bake sale in the Tingley Community Building. Meanwhile, trick-or-treaters stop by goodie tables on the tennis court, set-up by local businesses and clubs from 5PM-6PM. A Halloween Parade begins at 7PM with Mount Ayr Marching Band, ghouls, goblins, and floats. Awards for the best parade participants will be announced immediately after the parade, followed by the Tingley volunteer firemen serving a hog roast with bingo concluding the evening at the Tingley Fire Station.
