The Ellston City Hall is home for the Ellston Town Council which meets the first
Monday of the month at 7PM. In 2022, Jerri Stewart serves as Mayor, Tyler Jones as
Clerk, and Becky Jones as Treasurer. Councilmen are Nan Derscheid, Matt Weeda, Curt
Fry, Janet Cordes, and Jennifer Creveling.
The air-conditioned handicap accessible building hosts many community functions;
such as fundraising dinners, family reunions, and the Union Township’s Voting Poll.
The facility is available for rental by contacting building manager Jennifer Creveling
at 641-340-0050. The $50 per day fee includes banquet tables, chairs, duel bathrooms,
kitchen, handicap ramp, adjoining historic museum, and adjoining city park with playground
and shelter.
